Candidates for the procedure should have sufficient donor hair in the back of the scalp and exhibit moderate hair loss. It is ideal for patients looking for a less invasive, natural-looking alternative to hair transplantation surgery.

NeoGraft^® uses controlled pneumatic pressure to slide the donor follicles out of the scalp smoothly, without the need for pulling and twisting. Because the grafts are not touched, they are not susceptible to damage during the extraction, so they can be re-implanted more quickly, improving the success rate of the transplant and producing more natural and fuller-looking results.

The procedure can be performed under local anesthesia, and usually requires between 3 to 8 hours depending on the scale of the transplant procedure. Because NeoGraft^® automates the follicle extraction, harvesting 1-4 follicles at a time, this procedure is faster, safer, and more successful than manual extraction techniques.

Once the hair follicles have been transplanted into the desired areas of the scalp, they will stay in place for about 2-3 weeks before shedding. The new hair growth will begin in about 3-4 months, at which point your hair will continue to grow normally.
